      The museum is open daily.

      Closed on January 1st, Luna New Year (Feb. 10, 2024), Chuseok (Sep. 17, 2024)

      Regular Closures: First Mondays in April and November
      Special Exhibition Gallery 2 in the Permanent Exhibition Hall will be closed.
      Special Exhibition Gallery 1 outside and the Pagoda Garden will be still be open.

      Visitors with reservation can enter upon presenting their confirmation voucher.

      Online reservations of 260 tickets are available per session.

    • Visitor Services

    • Wheelchairs and strollers are available free of charge in the Great Hall.
      ※ Strollers are available for children up to 15kg.

      The museum has a free coat storage on the west side of the main gate.

      There are lockers in front of the Museum shop and the Children's Museum.

      The lactation room is located in the Great Hall on the first floor across from the museum shop.

  • Visitor Tips

    • Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the museum.
    • Food, beverages, and pets are prohibited. Certified service dogs are permitted to assist visitors with disabilities.
    • Mobile phones must be turned off or switched to silent mode before you enter the exhibition galleries.
    • Please refrain from speaking loudly and running in the exhibition halls.
    • Please refrain from touching or damaging any artifacts and exhibits.
    • Taking photographs using flash light, a tripod, selfie stick, or gimbal and taking photographs for commercial use are strictly prohibited.
    • Photography or videotaping for commercial purposes requires advanced written permission from the museum.
    • Riding a bicycle, kickboard, stateboard and skating are prohibited.
